Stephanie & Michael tied the knot this August after four years of being together. The pair, who are both laid-back teachers with great senses of humour, said “I do” at the St. Rose of Lima Parish in Toronto. I’m such a sucker for emotional ceremonies, so when Mike welled up at the sight of his gorgeous bride, there were definitely tears hidden behind my camera.
Their wedding had the perfect mix of tradition and unique, modern flare. I love when a Bride and Groom are able to honour both sides and stay true to who they are as a couple.
Their reception was held at the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery in the Columbus Centre. It was an absolute joy to see the hard work that Melissa of Near & Dear Events had put into this day. Stunning florals by DeLight Floral Design surely couldn’t have hurt either! 😉 Stephanie’s father was responsible for the creative honeycomb woodworking that was featured in their reception decor. What started as an inspired idea by Stephanie turned out to be absolutely gorgeous in reality!
Anyone that knows Steph & Mike can see what light they both bring into each other’s lives. She loves how he makes her laugh and feel adored. He loves her zest for all things food, travel and family. Together they fit. Without question. Like they were truly made for each other.
Enjoy this peek at these two sweet souls’ big day!
