Erin & Jonathan • Kortright Centre for Conservation Wedding

11.06.15

If you’re a wedding photographer, you know that when another photographer wants you to shoot their wedding, it’s a pretty freakin’ big deal. So I was beyond honoured when Erin got in touch, wanting me to be her wedding photographer. We’ve been kindred spirits ever since and being a part of her big day at the Kortright Centre for Conservation was simply incredible.

As a photographer herself, Erin knew exactly what to do to make the most out of her wedding day and get the images she wanted. She was prepared with all of her details laid out for me when I arrived to her parents house the morning of her wedding. Her timeline was flawless and allowed for a stress-free day for everyone involved.

Best of all, Erin and Jon are undeniably each others person. The way they held each other throughout their day and looked at each other with a time-stopping sense of knowing. The day was not just a wedding, but a celebration of their commitment to marriage. To each other. To all of the hard work and mountains they will climb together.

I was so honoured to be a part of this incredible celebration and to have been chosen to document Erin & Jon’s big day.
