It’s rare that a proposal story makes me swoon after working with so many engaged couples, but when Rebecca and Dan told me how he popped the question in Mont St. Michel in France – so high on my bucket list – my jaw dropped. They had met years before through the small universe that is the Ontario hockey community. It was inevitable that their paths would again cross when their parents bought a house on the same lake in Bracebridge!

Their wedding was effortlessly beautiful and Rebecca and Dan were so in-the-moment that they couldn’t care less when it started to rain during their ceremony. They wanted a fun, laid back event that spoke to their rustic yet elegant vibe, and Danielle of Shaw Events delivered! Stunning florals by Wildwood Floristry hit it out of the park with the palette and textures.

Two souls and two families that fit perfectly together. Lovers that have conquered distance, school, and crazy hockey schedules, amongst other trials – not to mention raising an adorable whippet puppy (with the same name as our fur baby, Winnie)! It was such an hour being able to document this stunning day for Rebecca & Dan.
