Caitlin & Jordan’s engagement session was quite an adventure from the beginning. They decided that Jordan’s parent’s cottage in Haliburton would be the perfect setting; all-season adventures and memories at the cottage gave it a special place in their hearts.

It was the end of January and the mass snowfall made the area a stunning winter wonderland. My scenic drive up included passing icicles on the cliffs and ice-fishing groups on nearby lakes. Although absolutely beautiful, it did put my driving skills to the test attempting to weave through cottage country roads in my FWD Kia Rio. Thank goodness for snow tires!! 

Once I arrived we got a chance to hang out in the gorgeous log cabin and capture Caitlin and Jordan at their cosiest. Snuggles on the couch with cappuccinos and their fur-baby Calvin transitioned into ice skating on the lake as snow floated down around us. The session was perfectly Canadian and especially romantic.
