“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” ― Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets
When they first met, working together for a house painting company, Darlene was convinced that they wouldn’t get along well. Dave seemed uninterested, but little did they know that the months they spent together then would form the foundation for a lifelong relationship. Now, as they are just months away from their wedding day, it’s clear that they can’t imagine living their lives with anyone else.
Their relationship has grown while backpacking through Europe, exploring the wonders of the world, hiking to Machu Picchu, and numerous other adventures together. They both are undeniable foodies and will never turn down a Peameal Bacon Sandwich from Carousel Bakery at the St. Lawrence Market. Best of all, they carry with them a sense of lighthearted goofiness that makes them just so fun to be around. I can’t wait to capture their wedding this September at King Valley Golf Club.
